Not Everyone Who Wants to Travel Internationally Can Afford It
Megan Reynolds

This is good. There is SO much judgment about people who don’t “travel.” There is so much pressure to spend money on “experiences” because they’re “worth it.” Are they worth it if you put them on credit cards? What you have a ton of student loan debt? I’ve never thought so, and that’s why I haven’t left the country in over a decade either. I will finish paying $155,ooo of student loans (thanks law school) this Christmas, and guess what? I can then travel until my heart is content. People love to spend money they don’t have traveling, and it will always come back to bite them. If you do the right things with your money for a short period of time, even if it’s painful, you can live like no one else later. (Yup, Dave Ramsey girl here.)
