I definitely agree that there is something to being able to communicate in person. I think it depends on each team and environment and what works best for one group won’t work best for everyone but having people in management — especially founders/cofounders — who are open to experimenting and seeing what works are crucial when it comes to all aspects of the job, remote work included!
