The author mentioned his having only three successful bills only in the context of a larger argument that most of his proposed legislation (and there’s a lot of it), appears to amount to progressive posturing. That the bills Sanders did introduce were the same year after year. Bills that had no chance of success, put forward to highlight his progressive purity. To paraphrase you, ohhh we’ve got to love smug cluelessness of Sander’s supporters, as they consistently miss the point.
