A seasoned procurement executive with an extensive experience and training, Evgeny Romakin prepared for his career at the D. Mendeleev University of Chemical Technology in Moscow where he earned a master of science in chemical engineering. After graduating, Evgeny Romakin built up his career experience for a number of years before continuing his education at the Thunderbird School of Global Management. There, Evgeny Romakin attained a master of business administration in global management with a focus on matters related to supply chain, procurement, and sourcing. In 2012, he took on additional training with the Association for Operations Management, from which he earned certification as a supply chain manager.
Currently, Evgeny Romakin is a senior procurement executive at a chemical company in Greater Chicago area. Before, Evgeny Romakin utilized his formal training as a worldwide capital procurement manager for Amazon Corporate and at Henkel Corporation. In addition to fulfilling his professional responsibilities, Evgeny Romakin takes part in a variety of hobbies including reading and skiing. An avid traveler, he has visited a number of international destinations in Europe, Asia, the Americas, and Africa.
