Finally stumbled into the solution for doing something with the ‘true’ result.

I’m not quite sure why you’re storing it in this.result? Your `do` operator has the result in its parameter. But actually, you can do your action inside the subscribe:

deleteMember(selectedMember) {
this.confirmService
.confirm('Confirm Delete',
'This action is final. Gone forever!')
.subscribe(res => {
if (res === true) {
this.membersAdminService
.deleteMember(selectedMember.$key);
}
});
}

If this.membersAdminService.deleteMember is also an observable you can possibly chain them.

deleteMember(selectedMember) {
this.confirmService
.confirm('Confirm Delete',
'This action is final. Gone forever!')
.filter(res => res === true)
.switchMap(() => this.membersAdminService
.deleteMember(selectedMember.$key))
.subscribe();
}
One clap, two clap, three clap, forty?

By clapping more or less, you can signal to us which stories really stand out.
