After working for Sprint Communications two years the first year as Data Analyst and the second as a Pricing Analyst. I found that I have a passion for large data sets and drawing new insights from data. My degree was in Economics and Philosophy, so being interested in data does not exactly co-exist with my background. However, I have always enjoyed observing human behavior and trying to make sense of our interactions with one another. The passion of data and understanding human behavior sparked my interest in Machine Learning, which meant I need to start learning Programming.

Each week night over the last 6 months I spend my time reading, learning to program, and general business acumen. This blog is a medium to bring my learning process of what works; so others who are interested in learning to program and becoming a business leader can find best practices. I am currently learning Python through reading books, DataCamp.com, teamtreehouse.com and Lynda.com; each week I will post different tutorials I learn so you too can follow along and learn Python. Also, I will reviews on books I am currently reading with general takeaways and lessons learned.

Using Python as a tool to learn Machine Learning, Deep Learning, and Big Data; I would like to combine it with my passion for human interaction to help make society better. Google’s motto of Don’t Be Evil has always been a personal favorite of mine since without good entrepreneurial pursuit we cannot have good societies. So join me in trying to align my passion, market opportunity and creating skills to help make the world a better place.
