Singing for the Seniors

Yesterday was really good day. First we did daily math. Next, we did language arts and then it was recess time. After recess, we packed up and left for the senior center. I rode with a friend’s mom with others in my class. When we got to the senior center, we went to the place where people were eating their lunch. Then we sang some songs for them on the eve of Valentine’s Day.

Some songs we sang were —”some valentines’ are fine and frilly”, “I am sending you a valentine” and others… One senior complimented me on my good voice and singing. I was happy to have given them a moment of joy and company. Soon, it was over and we returned back to school.

It was an awesome day where I did something different.
