Hello everyone! It’s the 6th of January 2023, the beginning of a new chapter! Probably several people have made new year's resolutions and started working on them to make 2023 better for themselves, wishing them all the best!

Isn't it the best time to examine and look after yourself? Well, I think it is the perfect time to start taking care of yourself at the beginning of 2023 to enjoy the rest of the year. I know many of you are thinking, all is going well with self-care but wait! I am gonna tell you what areas need to be fixed.

What is self-care?

According to WHO (World Health Organization)

“Self-care is the ability of individuals, families and communities to promote health, prevent disease, maintain health, and cope with illness and disability with or without the support of a health worker.”

It is the ability of individuals, to look after themselves regularly and to be active in their well-being for a maintained healthy lifestyle. The meanings of self-care are different for different people, in short, the things that can bring joy and happiness are relatable to your self-care. And

Don’t consider self-care as selfishness!

  6. Tackle things in smaller steps: There is no need to panic over things try to handle them in small steps.
  7. Make flexible plans: Change the plans according to the needs of the hour.
