Here Are 5 Ways How Can Increase Your Brand Awareness With Ease

In a previous blog, we talked about brand awareness which you can read here. But as a quick summary of the concept, ‘brand awareness’ is basically a metric that measures the level of familiarity that your target audience has with your brand and how well they recognize it. Like with most metrics, it’s not enough to simply establish your brand awareness; you also have to grow and maintain it.

1. Offer Freemium

Freemiums are like taste tests you get at ice cream parlors; they allow your consumers to get a taste of your product so that they can decide if they want to buy the whole deal or not. The important thing to remember about freemiums is to make it as attractive and as close to what you’re offering.

2. Create Free Content

A great way to connect with your audience is to offer up free content. This free content can be anything from infographics, social media posts, and videos, to blogs. However, you’re not “just giving it away”; since all of this is for brand awareness, people need to know that the content you’re giving out for free is yours no matter where it’s posted or how many times it’s reposted. To make sure that happens, you need to add your logo, watermark, and any other thing that defines your brand (like hashtags) on the content.

3. Social Media Presence

No matter what your business is, you can bet on the fact that your audience is on one or the other social media platforms. You need to find them and connect with them. To do this, there are a few rules you need to follow: post consistently, engage regularly, listen to your audience, and deliver what they are expecting.

4. Develop Your Brand’s Personality

People, especially business owners undermine the importance of having a strong personality for the brand. The thing is that your brand has a personality regardless of whether you’re actively working on it or not; it is built through your interactions and the content you put out. A personality humanizes your brand so that it’s easier for your audience to connect with it. So think of what you want your brand to represent what you want people to think when they think of your brand, and start working towards it.

5. Start a Podcast

Podcasts are the newest trends in the digital world. Everyone from Instagram Influencers to Youtubers are producing podcast regardless of what their niche is. The reason podcasts are getting so much attention is because they are something people can listen to on-the-go, more on-the-go than Facebook and Instagram and Snapchat. It’s just audio so people can listen to it on commute, use it as background noise while cooking, studying, working, etc. Another thing that contributes to its popularity is that it is something people can use to stay connected with the influencers they like while going about their lives. You don’t need a recording studio to produce a good quality podcast; your phone, a pair of earphones with a mic, a relatively quiet area with minimal background noise, and a list of topics you want to talk about is all you need to get started.
