You are no doubt aware, the past few weeks have been hectic but we believe it was worth it as we can now proudly announce

Tatch BTC and NLG gateways on Bitshares decentralised exchange

After experimenting with various partnerships, we took the strategic decision to build up our own gateway. Today, we are in a position to offer you Bitcoin [BTC] and Gulden [NLG]. Listed below are the pairs we want to highlight:

In order to start using our gateways, you first need to create an account on https://wallet.tatchcapital.com (Google Chrome is recommended) unless of course you have one already:

To deposit, select the option from the menu, choose Tatch Capital as bridge/gateway and follow instructions:

Withdrawal follows identically the same process.

If you would like for us to list your coins, please get in touch as not all details and modalities have been set up yet. The model will work on a revenue sharing principle offering two alternatives: either 40% or 90% of trading fees cash back to the coin lister !

Stablecoins

We have topped the addition of two gateways (NLG and BTC), with two stablecoins: tatch.EUR and tatch.USD (also called SmartCoin on Bitshares platform).

Definition

A SmartCoin is a cryptocurrency the value of which is pegged to that of another asset, such as the US Dollar or gold. SmartCoins always have 100% or more of their value backed by Tatch Capital Limited core currency, the TatchCoin (also called TCN), to which they can be converted at any time at an exchange rate set by a trustworthy price feed. In all but the most extreme market conditions, SmartCoins are guaranteed to be worth at least their face value (and perhaps more, in some circumstances). Like any other cryptocurrency, SmartCoins are fungible, divisible, and free from any restrictions.

Fees

tatch.EUR and tatch.USD are 0,10% fee per transaction.

You can borrow both SmartCoin at 0% interest rate by putting TatchCoins as collateral.

Impacts on TatchCoin

Tatch Capital has locked 500.000 TatchCoins as collateral so as to issue fiat stablecoins. Total available supply is currently less than half of the initial 1 million TatchCoin supply (999.455,5 at time of writing).
