Hello DD Army,

Here is the second class of learning, the words from Deepak Sir to my understanding…

  1. The class started with a token of appreciation for all our leanings.

Congratulations to all the fellow interns those who successfully completed 1st assignment and got appreciation towards your effort in the form of reward. Appreciation can be done in many ways but, here Deepak Sir created a positive kind of encouragement to complete the assignments through crediting the money. And given a heads up on future assignments saying that the upcoming assignments will be tough followed by a sweet note saying that we will also earn more.

2. Focus on the class :: “Distraction is more harmful to the brain than drugs.”

If you distract yourself, you lose attention. So avoid diversion and focus on the things that required trash out all unnecessary things. Listen carefully, explore the leanings and try to execute in a better manner.

3. Learn> Do>Teach system :: “When you teach, you understand things in a better way.”

I do a Learn-Do-Teach model when I am sitting with my daughter studying. The first step I will read the concept/ subject, second step understanding of the subject in all possible corners, third step trying to explain her in a better way. When doing all these things, I am always finding new ideas for learning, implementing and teaching, so that’s why I am calling Learn> Do>Teach is a never-ending life cycle.

4. Mistakes are Future Benefits :: “The value of which is yet to be realized.”

It’s okay to do mistakes and of course knowingly or unknowingly everyone will do mistakes and ending up with worthy learning from it.

When you have to do something, do it more and more to make it better. When I started my assignment I have done so much of rewriting because I don’t have any experience in article writing and also not good at vocabulary but somehow I am able to manage and submit🤪. Now do the same experiment on the second assignment as well🤣.

5. Marketing is about good conversation:: “If you cannot converse well 1:1, you cannot converse well 1: many.”

Marketing is all about good conversation. The best way of improving customer engagement is to have a good conversation and make a positive impact.

If you are not able to make a good conversation with 1:1, you cannot be able to have 1: many.

Everyone has their own set of definitions regarding marketing. According to Deepak Sir marketing is a process of building trust because trust is the most important key factor for any healthy relationship.

Even though you are addressing a bunch of people, they create an atmosphere that you are doing a one-on-one conversation with everyone to build trust. Write articles and emails, the communication should be in such a way that you are speaking with every single person individually.

6. Be authentic to communicate better:: “People are tired of fake people with social personas. Everyone is attracted to someone real.”

What is authenticity or authentic?

Being original and showing your real face to the world, not a fake face. No one is perfect, accept your flaws and be realistic. When we show your true face, you can create your own tribe.

Fake people never end-up having trust. Fake people how much they can act, one final day their original side will come to existence.

So be an authentic speaker and read the article written by Deepak Sir “How to become a great public speaker.”

7. Who is a better marketer? :: “People with more life experience are better marketers. Travel. Learn new languages. Do new things all the time.”

Experience comes from places you have been, the things you have done, and the people you have met. As long as you are able to learn new things every day, from situations around you, things you read, people you meet, things you do, and emotions you feel, you will be gaining life experience.

Being a marketer means connecting with the audience along with different things. Always maintain a healthy relationship, having a healthy relationship creates positive vibes. Meet more people, try to collect data on different opinions. Have a deep insight, always see things from different angles.

8. Who is your audience? :: “If everyone is your audience, then no one is your audience.”

Don’t try to talk with everyone, all are not going to your audience. Be specific to talk something with someone, define your target audience to address, use simple language in order to communicate. Join mental conversations already in people’s minds.

Deepak Sir explained about the Law of last numbers and shared an article to read on this “Law of last numbers”, you can predict the outcome of random events for reasonable accuracy when you have large numbers which are included.

When you toss a coin only one time you cannot predict whether you are going to get heads or tails, but if you are doing it for more than 100 times there is a chance of prediction of the probability of getting a number of heads and tails.

Sending emails and messages is more powerful than social media because in social media there are fewer chances of having one-on-one conversation. When you write articles, every line in an article should impose an impression to read the next line, and you need to grab the attention of the audience because one weak word or one weak sentence can make the entire thing a nightmare.

Writing is about saying less and conveying more. Words are very powerful so use them carefully.

9. How to define your target customers :: “Demographics and Psychographics.”

What is the demographic?

Demographics involves statistical data of age, gender, education and income etc.

What is Psychographic?

Psychographics methodology used to describe characteristics of humans such as personality, values, opinions, attitudes, interests, and lifestyles.

So using these marketing strategies, target your customers, collect the data, do analysis and plan accordingly.

10. Focus on the centre, not on the border :: “As you move away from the centre, it will dilute and it’s ok.”

  3. Most commonly used device is Android mobile
  4. Features that are expecting from a learning app is interactiveness, Ads-free, Fun oriented learning and the app should support Offline
  5. Most of the people are interested in Affiliated Marketing

11. Awkwardness is an indicator of learning:: “Challenges what you already know and creates new beliefs and way of thinking.”

“Life begins at the end of your comfort zone.”

According to the above line👆, learning new things may sometimes feel tough, but it is the best way of learning. Come out of your comfort zone, try new things, enjoy new paths.
