Why UI/UX design is very important?

Nowadays, programmer could be outsource to India which has one of the lowest minimum salary in this world. The cost of programming is obviously cheaper in India than other place meanwhile the quality of program is quite difficult to distinguish from each other. The only matter thing that stand out between India and other places is UI/UX design. Why it is must be very important if the program can execute by the coding? Below is the explaining reason.

If the function or the feature of product is the same, the design of product would be the key element to distinguish. Similar to drinking water, the product is identical so the packaging and branding are the only thing to make the product standout from the other. Believe it or not, this logic is applied for tech start up as well. Each website could have identical function such as search engine websites; google, yahoo and bing, so UI design is the only thing that make them look unique from each other. Hence, UI design is directly linked up to the competitive advantage, brand management and etc. If the website’s UI already capture the targeted audience, the execution of the website would be more simplistic than a mess up lay out website.

But the next question is lay up to the previous one, how we can be a great UI/UX designer? Is it the truth that only programmer is qualified to be UI designer? Based on my own theory, I do believe that everyone can be UI designer which will play a significant role in the developing business similarly to other type of designers. Everyone can be a designer!!
