This week’s assignment was similar to the second week’s assignment (Refer to 2nd week in using Photoshop) with the exception that we had to sketch out gadgets instead of food, making the task somewhat harder, at least for me.
We were required to create a poster with 20 gadgets, using the design principle of scale to highlight 1 of the items and making use of design principles in the poster. This is my final output.
Overall, what I have learnt this week is that when sketching an object in Photoshop, I can make use of lines to capture the outline and shape of the item, making them look more complete and providing more details to the sketches. Also, when I color in my objects, I can use different varieties of shades to make certain parts of the objects darker or lighter. This could enable me to provide contrast or difference to the picture.
That’s all for this week. Next week, me and my partner will be giving a presentation showing our progress for each task in each week. The week after, we will be covering Photoshop Illustrator and learn how to use it in our future tasks and projects.
