Excellent motivational article. You are absolutely right about earning the screen time.
While I agree you should work on the things you give a sh*t about post 7pm. I think you should work smarter only and not harder. Assigning tasks to others and only working on the tasks you must do leads to more getting done and faster.
If you’re going to spend your “off” time, your post “work” time on the couch, starring a screens for entertainment or diluting yourself with sugar, self-talk, alcohol and other distracting substances then that is your prerogative. I mentioned in a recent post of mine how we use this as an excuse. as a defence mechanism, to feel valuable. To feel like we’re important.
Funnily enough, the people who often use the “busy” excuse are usually the ones who constantly feel unfulfilled.
