America continues to soil its diapers in front of the whole world as the Don the Con “Presidency” unfolds. My aged Aunt Amy, who wanted to ban gasoline as a dangerous innovation, would be a better leader than this moron, simply because she is comatose and could not do the harm Herr Drumpf is doing.
He and his moronic supporters have simply not the brains to think about what they are saying and doing.
The Wall, for example. The Stupid Party (aka the Republicans) are beginning to realize that the stupid promise that their idiot candidate made is going to cost a LOT of money. And that the American taxpayer is going to foot the bill. The Stupid Party tells all who will listen that they hate public spending. So where does a cost north of $21 billion leave the Stupids with their constituants? They will want to either build a cheap fence or a much shorter wall and declare it done. Perhaps, though, their moronic leader will insist on building the whole thing. Then the Stupids will be up against it to do so without breaking the bank or, horror of horrors, raising taxes! Maybe they could use inexpensive Mexican labour and cement factories to keep costs down, although, given Trump’s reputation for ripping off his own contractors, those working on the wall would be wise to demand payment up front.
Don the Con is now threatening to take away aid from Mexico to pay for the wall. The Mexican response: go ahead. That aid was being given to Mexico really to help America by fighting the drug trade in Mexico. It has helped Mexico train and arm its paramilitary and police forces to fight the drug cartels.
However, those cartels only exist because so many Americans buy drugs that are illegal in the US. The Mexican response to the aid threat amounts to saying, we will take care of ourselves. If your conduct in reducing the aid hurts you, too bad. The last of the aid money was designed to assist Mexico to improve justice systems in the various Mexican states. Leaving them unreformed will only hurt America in the end. Having a lawless neighbour next to you is not a good idea; but he Drumpf’s WH cannot think that far ahead, because they are morons. Taking away the aid is just America hurting itself.
The source of the drug problem is America itself. If it could cut down the demand for the drugs Mexico produces, then the cartels would go out of business. But this has not occurred to America’s lawmakers, who continue to criminalize the growing of plants and the consumption of the chemicals they produce. Instead, they should legalize the drugs and control consumption. That way you will have happy consumers, happy tax collectors and happy producers. As it is, all we have are angry policemen, corrupt governments, and murderous producers.
The WH morons also thought that they could insult Mexico and then dump in Mexico the non-Mexican illegals being deported from the US as their cases were being decided in the US! Why would Mexico agree to this? Again, Drumpf says: “we will take away their aid”. Response from Mexico? See above. The arrogance of the Drumpf administration is breath-taking. Having insulted Mexicans, you then propose to treat Mexico as a giant holding pen, while refugee and other claims wend their sorry way through American courts?! Having seen the chaos that happened in France when the French agreed to hold refugees heading for Britain, quite apart from the impracticality and the afore-mentioned rudeness from the Drumpf campaign about Mexico, the response from Mexico, a huge raspberry, was predictable.
America creates problems and then wants everyone else to clean up its messes. It invades Iraq, while still in Afghanistan, destroys the command structures in the country, unleashing horrific sectarian violence, declares everything resolved and then leaves. And it wonders why the Arabs, and everyone else, no longer trusts it. Israel of course loves the US, which gives it vast sums of money and then messes around in the nearby countries so much that Arabs are all shooting each other and ignoring Israel.
The US, having wrecked the Middle East, because some Saudis flew planes into New York towers, and never attacking the Saudis, because they have oil for America, now tut-tuts about the mess, which they created!! And the US stands by feeling superior as refugees from the mess the Americans made in the Middle East overwhelm Europe.
They then elect a con man in Trump, because they are afraid of the immigrant problem their stupidity has created in the first place, and of terrorists, many of whom hate America because of its bombs falling on their countries, in equal measure. Those immigrants are trying mainly to lead better lives. But Drumpf’s moronic supporters think those immigrants will take their jobs, and their women, and their guns, and…. They also complain that these immigrants dress funny and don’t look like us. Have these morons looked in a mirror while wearing their America vests, their Trump hats, their macho cowboy boots…? They drink up the stew of hatred spewed by Drumpf’s henchmen and believe in their inherent superiority to any people from elsewhere, from any elsewhere. The fact that we are all immigrants makes no difference to them, nor to Herr Drumpf, their leader.
And to these stupid people, the word “immigrant” equates to “terrorist”. Fear is pervasive among Trump supporters. A great people has been reduced to a fearful jelly, essentially by being told to be fearful, by a con man. America is NOT facing floods of foreigners. Europe is at the forefront of that battle, but America bleats so much you would think they could see the Middle East from their houses, just as Sarah Palin famously and idiotically claimed to see Russia from hers.
Trump supporters continue to support Don the Con, thinking he is doing a fine job. This just exposes these Americans, a substantial minority of the voting population, because Trump is not only a fool, he is also not the choice of a majority of American voters, as continuing to be morons. They are about as thoughtful as an ice cream truck, but they really do need to realize that the world order as it is was set up by America. It requires sacrifices to be a leader. America has interests all over the world. Drawing in on itself means that America will lose the assets to protect those interests. It will pay double at the least to resolve problems later that is has some control over now. As China and Russia step into the void left by the con man’s presidency, the world will change greatly and become much more dangerous. And all because a deeply stupid man was able to convince equally deeply stupid voters to elect him to a the highest office they could give him.
