The number of times we see Don the Con saluting something, in this case at the Lincoln Memorial, is laughable. This is the coward who, having attended military school, then claimed and received five (5) deferments due to bone spurs in his feet. One imagines Fred Drumpf arranging those deferments for his son, to keep him from Vietnam jungles.
The fact is that Trump is a coward. He did not fight for his country when required to do so. He just did not show up.
How, because of his cowardice, he is a captive of the military/industrial that a real military hero, President (and General, for those who have no history) Eisenhower warned about. Trump, as an acknowledged coward, needs to assert his slight manhood, by talking tough. He proposes a huge military budget, while he is also proposing to cut taxes on his rich friends. He describes the arrest and deportation of Mexican mothers as a “military operation”. He says he would like to “punch” his opponents “in the mouth”.
What crap. Donny the Conny would soil his Depends if someone actually confronted him. He would no more punch someone in the mouth or anywhere else than would John McCain ever make such a threat. Now there is a hero: John McCain bridled at a desk job in Washington, arranged by his father the Admiral, during Vietnam so he demanded and got a front line job, flying jets off carriers. He was shot down and spent years in North Vietnamese prisons, refusing releases offered to him, because it would not include the other men. Now THAT is a hero. And Mr. Fatuous Trump says he likes heroes who “do not get caught”. What a moron!!! Trump solved the “never get caught” problem by dodging the draft from the start. And for all his equally fatuous supporters, that was okay, they still supported him. What morons they are to have supported a moron like him.
Because he is such a coward, he has to compensate by talking tough, and that is why we have such a supposedly macho President. He is trying to always show he is tough, knowing that his security detail will prevent anyone from taking him up on his “want to punch them in the mouth” lies. He will agree to ridiculously large budgets for the Pentagon, because the military, good psychologists that they are, know that they own the Conman. Someone like McCain, who has no issues with his courage bona fides, is very tough on military waste. No one in the military would ever accuse him, behind his back or otherwise, of cowardice or of not knowing what he is talking about. Trump is a weak man. He knows he is a coward. He knows he knows nothing about military matters, and he is concerned others know that too. So he talks tough, because that is all he has left. And his moronic supporters follow behind him like the stupid sheep they are.
Cowardice is not a recommendation for America’s President, but that is what Americans managed to elect. Speaks volumes about American values and American voters.
