Crony Capitalism 101: The World Bank on Cement
Feyi Fawehinmi

Great stuff, although you might not be popular for putting the blame where it is due! Reminds me of a book I read recently, “Asian Godfathers” by Joe Studwell. He describes similar crony capitalist dynamics in the “tiger” economies of Southeast Asia. Lots of billionaires who just sit atop raw materials concessions rather than being innovative businessmen looking for ways to expand supply and lower prices in a competitive market where consumers are king. Good work!
