This is what liberals, progressives and establishment Republicans state in order to avoid the truth. The reality is that most of the Trump supporters are in his camp because they recognize that we have the worst political class in many, many decades maybe even in the history of this country. Most are nakedly corrupt and pretty much all are incompetent. Combine that with their condescension and contempt for the ‘little people’ in flyover country and you get an explosive mix of anger and a desire to shake up things in DC.

If our Federal government hadn’t assumed so much power in recent decades, our presidential elections would be less of a zero sum game were each side is so desperate to win.
