I have found that unfortunately a lot of baby boomers seem resistant to technological change, even though these are changes that happened well within their normal “productive years”. I’m not quite sure why. It may have to do with the general era of conformity that baby boomers grew up in.

My parents are very afraid of “breaking” anything, and I keep trying to convince them that it’s not that easy to break, and that playing around with all the options is one of the best way to learn a program. I’m going to be 38 this year, so I’m no spring chicken either.
