How I Write with Generative AI

In the realm of modern content creation, the integration of Generative AI into my writing process has been nothing short of transformative. Prior to embracing AI, my articles on platforms like Medium were crafted solely based on my personal insights and research. I while used the above approach for a while, I did some research into better ways of using ChatGPT. Turns out that there’s a whole lot more than can be done:

• Start a chain of thought and ask what ChatGPT needs in order to write a blog post for medium based on the initial bullet list
• Answer it’s questions and it will make a better post

But you can take this a step further by getting ChatGPT to write you a better prompt to write a better blog post. That’s my main methodology now. It’s based on the successful COSTAR framework, seriously it’s pretty cool. It gives ChatGPT enough structure to be able to follow fine-tuned instructions.

Proofreading and Iteration

Once ChatGPT generates a draft, I meticulously proofread it. This step is crucial for refining the bullet points with additional information or corrections. The process may repeat several times until the final product resonates with my ideas and preferred style.

I adhere to a consistent palette and style, usually opting for minimalism and flat design with a specific color scheme.
