“Who are We?” Project

My life in 100 words:

Born Fourth of July, 2002. Lived in Chicago and went to preschool there, before moving to Mt. Prospect at age 5. Started attending St. Raymond in kindergarten, and continued to grow and learn there until graduating in 2016, as it was a private school. During my nine year journey at St. Raymond, I made friends that I still have to this day. Joined multiple sports and clubs, including basketball, baseball, track, cross country, band, volleyball. My time spent at St. Raymond was long, but I finally graduated along with the friends I’ve known for as long as I can remember.

Hall of Fame by The Script ft. will.i.am is special to me because it can help me overcome challenges that I find difficult or impossible.

At 9:00 p.m. on Friday, I came back to the band room after performing at the half time show of the football game.
Mugsy Bogues is inspirational to me because he is living proof that any setback can be overcome in order to achieve a goal. He’s the shortest player to ever be in the NBA, and he was a remarkable player for his height. Photo credit: viralhoops.com
Ishmael Beah inspires me through his story. He never gave up, and people never gave up on him. He went through things that people in our society couldn’t even imagine. He inspires me to never give up on anything, because compared to what he’s faced, the challenges in my life really aren’t that hard to overcome.Photo credit: zimbio.com
Michael Phelps shows that no goal is too big. He is the most decorated Olympian of all time, with a total of 28 medals. Photo credit: mercurynews.com
A creative man is motivated by the desire to achieve, not by the desire to beat others.
