Here and There

A Poem

I’m here and there.
Not everywhere.
Things are clearer here than there.

Far from home and motherly bones,
In this home with bones, I chose.
Wherever she is, I’d feel at home.

Wherever she goes that’s where I’ll be.
Whatever she throws, I’ll learn to breathe.
She’s my home and this life is ours to live.
