Tricia Cigna | UX Designer
I’m a UX designer driven by curiosity, compassion, and aesthetics.
I design products and services that are intuitive, engaging, and meaningful.
To me, a design is good when it solves a problem.

Lunch Buddy
Lunch buddy is a mobile application to assist busy parents and guardians with managing various aspects of their kids; in-school cafeteria accounts.
The Problem:
Parents and guardians are busy, and sometimes its hard to keep track of when to pack lunches, if their kids are eating properly at school and when to give lunch money. Users of the Lunch Buddy application vary from technologically advanced smart phone users to beginner. With that being the case, I was tasked with building an application to suit both of those users as well as all of their needs that come with it.
User Journeys
After analyzing multiple personas, I built user journeys to grasp a deeper understanding of our user’s journey through the Lunch Buddy experience.

The next steps in the process was to design a sitemap to identify the exact user flow and information architecture for the Lunch Buddy application.

High-Fi and Low-Fi Wireframes
Depending on the project, I will utilize high fidelity and low fidelity wireframe mockups to portray rough layout and interaction. As I build upon those, I typically add the UI styling.

Prototyping
Using InVision app, I was able to create a high fidelity prototype that I can run users through for simple usability testing. Prototyping gives life to the experience, and allows users to actually interact with your product.
