Ethan Siegel

I enjoyed reading this article, even though it was indeed hard to wrap my mind around the concepts, until I ran into this sentence and my mind just bounced off completely. Is there something missing here, or can someone explain this in different words?

“ The gravitational force inside an atom is entirely negligible relative to the gravitational force . . .”. (seems to say “X is negligible relative to X”)???
