Great read. I’m curious to hear more about this particular point:

“I was forced to go from an agency model (all work comes into design, we delegate and collaborate based on skill) to a pod model (each designer needs to operate mostly independently within a feature team). I did voice my opposition to the change, but was outvoted.”

What (in general) was your opposition to the ‘pod’ model? Loss of creative team cohesiveness? Fragmentation? How did your initial opposition change over time?
