This is hilarious — you accuse others of having an agenda while you have one of your own which is threatened by a more structured approach. At least be honest and upfront at the start not right at the end of your article. You obviously do have it in for Tom, why else go on about him personally to the extent that you have.

As far as I am concerned progressives like yourselves have been churning out educational fad after educational fad for the past 4 decades and ordinary teachers like myself have had to work round the rubbish to ensure our pupils, especially the poorest, have a decent education.

Tom still works as a teacher, while you make money out of churning fantasist nonsense to naive, idealistic teachers all footed by the tax payer who actually wants children to know things.

Instead you advocate based on theories and using methods that have and will continue to leave children ignorant at best and illiterate at worst. The only issue here is how much money you will lose as a result of changes to the education system.
