Magento 2: “”Something went wrong with processing the default view and we have restored the filter to its original state.””

When I open an order admin page in Magento 2, you may get the following error:

“Something went wrong with processing the default view and we have restored the filter to its original state.”

This is due to a bug in Magento 2 related to user roles configuration. When giving partial access to the orders section, this can lead to this error.

To solve this issue, you need to tick all the boxes under sales ->operations-> orders for the admin account in question. See the image below.
