Why I Won’t Make it Past Your Careers Page

I have always assumed these Career pages were intentionally designed this way. The idea being that people will self-select and choose not to want to join their “brogrammer” culture or whatever since they cannot picture themselves working there. If someone asks about diversity, they can respond with, “the only applicants were 27 year-old white guys with beards, a passion for ping-pong, beer, and food”. Much like an AirBNB listing by a bigot, it’s a discrete form of racism, bias, and discrimination.
