Where is Alibaba of Job Industry
It is a well-known fact that finding a job is very hard. Things in current age are very different than what they were in 1990s, where getting a job was as easy as sending a physical copy of updated resume listing an associate degree. While jobs were not in abundance, they were sufficient to employ more than 90% of college graduates.

Back then, job listings were not electronic. They were instead listed on a single sheet of paper, thus, making job search simple and convenient. Getting a job took time, however, searching for the job just involved routinely glancing over the classified section of the daily newspaper.
However, moving on, fast forward 30 years, the plethora of digital information has made job search more difficult than ever. A single job is advertised on a large number of sites. This job ends up masking other relevant jobs in the industry. A job seeker who might have only limited time for job search performs delusive search viewing only top advertised jobs at 6–7 job boards, most of which are redundant. Thus, there is a high probability of job seeker to miss a highly relevant job and get stuck in a frustrating loop of never ending search.
So who is to blame for all this mess? In this age of entrepreneurship, why is job search still frustrating? Is the job search problem impossible to solve? Has the recruitment industry reached its peak and is this the best it can offer to the potential job seekers? The entrepreneurs daily crave for problems to solve and look for the ways they can make world a better place, then how can job search which is so frustrating reach a dead end. Given the current frustrations of job searching process, there is definitely something serious that is missing in the job industry.
One thing that is definitely missing from this industry is the concept of aggregator. An aggregator pulls data from multiple sites. Amazon and Alibaba are ecommerce aggregators that fetch data from multiple third party suppliers. They have taken the ecommerce world to the next level. However, there is no such aggregator in job industry.
One new startup launched recently on the same concept is 100TechJobs.com. The startup has managed to partner with top names in the industry such as Indeed, CV Library, Github, Ziprecruiter, Careerjet, and Adzuna. So now you can get access to top jobs listed from top sites all at a single place. While we are not aware of the fate of the startup, but we definitely need similar concepts in recruitment industry.
