Killy the self made artist out of Toronto has gone viral with every track released. His first song — Killamonjaro has reached more then 15 million views following Distance with 6.5 million and No Romamance with almost 9 million views. Its noticeable that the “emo rapper” is super talented with his unique sound.
His newest debut ablum Surrender Your Soul holds11 tracks, with production from 1mind, Y2K, and Wondagurl. Watch Killy explain “No Sad no bad” from his recent album.
Killy has always stood out from all the other rappers. He says, “Look at the state of music right now,” he says. “If you look at music as a whole and see who’s poppin’ and what people are listening to, and you compare it to what I’m trying to do, it’s two very different things.”
He just announced his first Canadian tour to support, including stops at a few major festivals — such as Rolling Loud in Miami, VELD Music Festival in Toronto and Osheaga, the ‘Canadian Coachella.’
