Discover the Sahara Desert

There is something magical about desert. Maybe it is the fact that this vastness seems so mysterious, full of treasures. Want to discover everything this place has to offer? There is a lot to do in the desert so it’s time to travel to Morocco and experience it!

Ride a quad bike

Enjoy nature while having fun, you can rent your own bike and book a 1 or 2 hours trip to explore the sandy dunes. Go on an adventure and admire the wonders of this vast desert.

Desert spa day

You will be able to lie in holes in the desert dunes for up to 30 minutes. This “sand bath” is said to be good for muscles, aching limbs and even some skin diseases — and it’s most effective in the heat of the summer months. This might not be the most conventional spa in the world, but it’s certainly an interesting way to experience the Sahara!

Stargazing

Just sit and admire the beauty of the starry sky, you’ll be left in awe of the countless stars, the deep blue sky and the deafening silence around you as the night falls. It is certainly the most magical thing to do here.

Sand surfing

The sandy dunes are the perfect waves to surf. You just have to pick one of the massive golden dunes and go for it!

Sit around the camp fire

Go collect some dead wood and dry bushes in the Sahara and get your fire on! In addition to being a way to keep warm during the nights, it’s the best way to gather, breathe, enjoy a good meal under the stars.

Spot wildlife

One other magical thing you could do in the desert is attracting some local wildlife. Easy job, just leave some leftovers near your camp and it’s a waiting game. If you are lucky, you could see some desert foxes!

Riding a camel

This is one of the most famous activities to do when you are in the desert. You can book different rides and it is the better way to take time to explore the wonders of the Sahara.

Watch the sunset/sunrise

What’s more relaxing than waking up in front of a beautiful sunrise ? Or falling asleep watching the sunset? Anywhere, sunsets and sunrises are beautiful but believe me, there’s something magical about the way the warm colors of the sky paint the golden dunes of the Sahara.
