We decided to make a caregiver-like app after we discussed through lo-fi prototypes from last week. First, we scan through lo-fi prototypes we made and vote for functionalities we are keeping toward the final version of the app. We build a general idea of major functionalities of our health app. We want our app to remind caretaker his/her medication schedule. Caregiver, both doctor and children, can edit and make arrangement remotely of caretaker’s schedule. A health tracker, tracking pain, mood, memory, and vital information such as blood pressure, heartrate, etc. Health tracker should log multiple health characteristics over the period…

As we approached Week 4 of classes, we had already iterated many storyboards and prototypes to come up with our digital prototype using Figma, where we took into account both the user experience and user interface of the design. This week, we reached the next crucial step in the design process of user testing and were given the opportunity to conduct user tests during class with other teammates.
An important part of the user testing was preparation. To simulate a fully functioning application, we used Figma’s protoyping tools to allow interaction between pages. …

We then decided that our team name should relate to them in some way. After parsing through koala puns, we found “Koalia”, a combination of the word qualia and koala.
Now that our name was decided, we needed to make a logo to represent our team. …
