Women’s basketball team opens the 2017 Canada Games in Winnipeg

After an exciting evening of cheers and entertainment at the Opening Ceremony last night, Team Nova Scotia is at it bright and early this morning. The women’s basketball team opened the entire Games with a match against Yukon.

Team Nova Scotia was full of spirit at the opening ceremony.

Here’s what Nova Scotia is doing in competition today.

The men’s softball team is up next at 10 a.m., with a game against P.E.I.

The men’s baseball team will open against host Manitoba at 7 p.m. The women’s soccer team will play New Brunswick at 7:30 p.m.

The men’s basketball team, a medal hopeful, will play their first game at 7:45 p.m.
