Step by step: How to buy NYCREC tokens with Bitcoin
1. Start from the “Buy Tokens” section on left side of your account and select the cryptocurrency you wish to contribute
The following screen will appear. Select “Bitcoin” as your preferred method of funding.
2. Enter your addresses and password
On the next page, enter the following:
- The BTC address you’re sending from (you may use an exchange-based wallet only to contribute)*
- The non-exchange ERC-20 wallet where you’d like to receive NYCREC tokens**
- The login password for your New York City Real Estate Coin account
*NOTE: We will NEVER send you our wallet addresses via email. The only way to see the NYCREC STO wallet addresses for BTC, ETH, and XRP contributions is by passing KYC/AML, viewing the PPM, and signing the Purchase Agreement.
**❗️Important: Because we are only distributing NYCREC Tokens after the STO is complete, you CAN send us funds from exchange wallets. This is true for BTC, ETH, and XRP contributions. But the address you use to receive NYCREC Tokens must be a third-party, non-exchange ERC-20 wallet (like MyEtherWallet) for which you have access to your private keys. If it is not, we will not be able to send you NYCREC Tokens once the STO is complete and your tokens will be lost forever.❗️
3. Click “Show NYCREC Address”
You’ll see the NYC Real Estate Coin BTC token raise address appear at the bottom. Please copy and paste this to your clipboard and/or in a separate document on your computer.
❗️CAUTION: Note that your account on our website, https://sto.nycrec.io/, will be the only place where the team will display the BTC token raise address to investors. Do not trust BTC addresses you see elsewhere, even through email and especially via PM on Telegram and Twitter. NYCREC will NEVER solicit payments via Telegram or other social media. Our admins and team members will NEVER directly message you asking to send BTC or another cryptocurrency to an address.❗️
Also, note that we’ll set a daily closing price for BTC, which will lock in the conversion rate for the NYCREC Private Sale on that day. We’ll set that price every day at 12:00 UTC.
4. Buy NYCREC tokens by transferring from your Bitcoin wallet
Now, go to your Bitcoin wallet. We recommend using a BTC wallet where you control the private keys, but an exchange wallet works for sending funds as well.
Get the NYC Real Estate Coin BTC token raise address and copy and paste it into the recipient address. Write how much BTC you’d like to send. Be aware the minimum for the NYCREC Private Sale is $10,000 USD equivalent. Click to send once all details are in there.
It should take only a few minutes for the transaction to complete. You can look up the transaction by searching your BTC address using a Bitcoin blockchain explorer, such as https://blockexplorer.com/.
On your NYC Real Estate Coin account, you can also check the status of your transactions on the history page.
You can also see how much BTC you’ve contributed to date on your dashboard home page.
Once the transaction goes through, congrats! You’ve successfully contributed to the NYCREC Private Sale.
You’re now a NYCREC token holder. Tokens will be distributed to you at the end of the sale.

Token Price: $0.14 USD per NYCREC token for the Private Sale (no-bonus price for NYCREC tokens is $0.20 per token)

Bonus: At least 30%! Contributions over $500,000 and $1 million will receive higher bonuses
Token type: NYCREC is an ERC-20 token
Minimum Investment: $10,000 USD equivalent
Currencies Accepted: ETH, BTC, XRP, and fiat for larger contributions
Who Can Contribute: NYCREC is a Regulation-S security token offering (STO). If you are a citizen or legal resident of the United States, People’s Republic of China, or India you may not participate.
Important Things to Note:
1.For sending Bitcoin, you may use an exchange wallet, such as Coinbase, Binance, Poloniex, or Kraken. Only do this for transferring Bitcoin from your wallet to our NYC Real Estate Coin BTC token address.
Note you can use an exchange to send contributions because we’re only sending you NYCREC tokens from our ERC-20 smart contract address (we’re not receiving them there). We have a dedicated NYC Real Estate Coin BTC token address so our supporters can contribute using Bitcoin.
2.You MUST have a non-exchange ERC-20 wallet to receive NYCREC tokens. We cannot send NYCREC tokens to a non-compatible wallet. Only ETH and ERC-20 compatible, third-party wallets for which you are in control of your private keys are acceptable. DO NOT ask us to send NYCREC tokens to an exchange-based wallet, as your tokens will be lost forever.
3.Before you contribute any BTC to our Private Sale, please make certain you’re on the correct site before continuing (https://sto.nycrec.io/). Phishing scams are commonly seen during STOs and ICOs! For advice on how to avoid scams during the NYC Real Estate Coin STO, read this article.
4.Your account on our website, https://sto.nycrec.io/, will be the only place where the team will display the BTC token raise address to investors during the Private Sale. Do not trust BTC addresses you see elsewhere, whether through email or via PM on Telegram and Twitter. NYCREC will NEVER solicit payments via Telegram or other social media, and we will never email you our wallet addresses.
