Over the last three months here at ROAR we have been on a mission, a mission to Mars.
The project began with the founding and formation of a richly diverse team, each selecting their handle and individual skills ready for the task: http://roarmissiontomars.com/.
The idea behind the mission was that each individual member use their knowledge and artistic talent to get to Mars. The project was implemented to allow artists to collaborate, using each others’ skills to work up ideas and further enhance each others creativity.
The launch/crash event took place at the St Ann’s building in Rotherham on December 14th and was an evening of both presentation and performance, encompassing a range of artistic mediums including poetry, sculpture and music.
