The SXS tokens were sent to the ETH address you contributed from, no matter if via Exodus or MyEtherWallet etc. The tokens were applied to that ETH address. Exodus will not show them by default, in MyEtherWallet you can add these custom tokens and they are visible. Essentially you have the SXS tokens in your wallet. You cant transfer those tokens as the conversion needs to be completed first. When the ICO is over, you can start the conversion process.
