Competitive Analysis

Our competitive analysis focused on the mix of the most popular apps. We can highlight the strengths and weaknesses of products in order to make more informed decisions about our product strategy.

Solution

Create an application that will respond to the needs of users.

The app should include booking process, a list of taken medications, detailed alert system and the ability to track other users added.

The booking process by creating a full-service booking app that completes the transaction from start to finish. All the available slots are laid out visually in front of the user in calendar format so they can see exactly what days are free, and which are booked. After choosing the selected day, the user simply browses the available time slots and picks the one that best fits their schedule.

Furthermore, a list of current and past medications can be kept on record in the app. Additionally, having a list of medications is helpful in providing a full experience of transparency and record keeping about the user’s health.

UX Design

Information Architecture

The information architecture of an app is, basically, the structure of your app’s content. The main aim of the designer working on the Information Architecture is to make it simple and intuitive to navigate.

Wireframes

A wireframe is commonly used to layout content and functionality on a page which takes into account user needs and user journeys.

Prototyping and User Testing

One of the great advantages of wireframing is that it provides an early visual that can be used to review with the client. Users can also review it as an early feedback mechanism for prototype usability tests. Wireframes are used early in a project to get user and client approval on the layout of key pages and the navigation.

UI Design

Moodboard

A mood board (or inspiration board) is a physical or digital collage of ideas that are commonly used in fields like interior design, fashion, and graphic design. It can include just about anything — photography, designs or illustrations, color palettes, textures, descriptive words — anything that helps the project.

Color Palette

The central principle of visual design in this app is the cleanness of the user interface and the emphasis on the main elements of the content. Based on that was built look and feel of the app. Blue is a very common color in the medical field because of its calming, trustworthy associations. The palette was expanded by adding green, violet and yellow for use in the app to distinguish certain categories.

Final Design

Conclusion

The purpose of the app is to provide a solution to the frustrating process of booking a doctor’s appointment. This project was an interesting challenge, requiring the well-thought balance of clear and accessible functionality and stylish visual concept corresponding to the theme of a healthy life.
