The bank across the street from work won’t take payments or deposits in cash anymore.
You have to deposit and pay in the ATMs, for safety.
It does take longer to process than when a human being types your deposit in the system on the spot, but it is for your own good.
It takes a bit of organizing. You have to not want to pay your bills on day they are due, so a fine won’t apply when you have to program the debit for the next day.
On that matter, they strongly recommend you avoid getting payed last minute. Good luck with that.
I felt like asking the teller lady “What are you still doing here?” but I figured it may offend her.
