5G Tech Tour — learn and experience the future

The development of 5G technology is always moving forward. This fifth generation of telecom networks (5G) has started hitting the market end of 2018 and continues to broaden worldwide. Aside from speed improvement, 5G is anticipated to create a massive IoT (Internet of Things) system where networks can serve communication needs for many connected devices, with the right exchange between speed, latency, and cost.

However, to the public, how is 5G technology going to be different than 4G? Because if we look at 4G itself, 4G has already speed enough to be used for daily necessities such as using social media, watching videos and many more. Until now 4G is capable of holding data in the cloud server. But 5G is predicted to be more than just a cloud server and will mainly drive by new IoT usages, such as connected and self-driving cars.

Furthermore in the future with the rise of 5G, the trend working at home or home office is not going to be the only one that rises in the office jobs anymore, because jobs like mining or contractors also can be done at home. 5G means also not just faster mobile internet, but mainly internet connectivity in a lot of objects what you see today. Smart cars and smart homes are two best examples of the big IoT revolution ahead, supported by 5G networks.

Now, what concerns the mere public is that what if the technology is going to replace humans. Meaning, fewer job opportunities for people, and unemployed rises. As a matter of fact, it is the opposite. Like the phrase, “out of sight, out of mind”, which is can be applied to us with new knowledge.

And Techbros GmbH sees 5G technology as an opportunity to monetize and open new career opportunities. By utilizing new knowledge and new ideas, technology will be an innovation in the future. The development of technology these days allows for more job opportunities. Because if we compare job opportunities back then and now, there are a lot of IT-jobs that require people that specialize in it.

Like Germany for example, is one of the developed countries, that have already introduced 5G technology in many use cases. To raise more awareness of the rising 5G technology, Techbros GmbH is inviting you to join the 5G Tech tour in Germany. One of the tour itineraries is, for example, the Vodafone Innovation Park Lab in Düsseldorf.

On the 21st of November 2019, Techbros GmbH coordinated students from Indonesia, who are interested in 5G technology to visit the Vodafone Innovation Lab in Düsseldorf. At the tour, the students were able to learn how to monetize 5G in the industry area, like how workers are capable of controlling and monitoring big machines from afar using latency. And because latency carries a big role in the machine operations, with the help of 5G technology the delay between the sending and receiving of information is extremely low, avoiding errors in the system operations.

Each new generation wireless network came with all new set of usages. The next coming 5G will make no exception and will be focused on IoT and critical communications applications. And in Germany, there are already about 50 5G antennas that have been installed.

In Indonesia, the majority of people are already technology-oriented minded. But lack of connectivity and media to utilize the knowledge. At the 5G Tech tour, you can discover the latest inventions of 5G like artificial intelligence (AI)-implemented robots and how 5G is tailored to each use case. And maybe in the upcoming years, a lot of 5G supported devices will be installed in many industry sectors in Indonesia. Like the founder of Techbros, Yudhi Rahadian, speculate with the help of 5G technology, industries in Indonesia will then get more profit and be recognized by the world.

Meanwhile, Techbros GmbH is a two-year-old consulting company in terms of IoT, innovation, solution, and deployment. The main focus of Techbros GmbH is also 5G technology. Moreover, since it was founded, Techbros GmbH has also developed software and physical services for the benefit of its customers, hence its mission is to improve customer’s experience. Ontelmoo is, for example, is a smart device that installed around the cow’s neck to detect the estrus cycle and has been successfully tested on cows in Blitar and Yogyakarta, Indonesia with positive results. Its founder, Yudhi Rahadian, has been dealing in the technology field for more than 15 years in 16 countries. He pursues the vision of helping businesses to capitalize on the possibility of IoT and 5G technologies.

Techbros GmbH believes in bringing people together to shape the future with their ideas and shape the world of tomorrow. Now Techbros facilitate you to be able to be a part of the technology journey. Join the 5G Tech Tour and be a part of the future.
