Faraday future , the Chinese electric car company, is working on self-driving tech along with 14 other companies.

This is the FFZERO1, the 1-seater electric super car they revealed at CES earlier this year. It is just a concept but it will be the car Faraday Future will be testing it’s self-driving tech with. Fun Fact: it has 1,000 hp and comes equipped with a space helmet for some odd reason.

This brings up the topic of when self-driving vehicles will be sold to consumers. There are 14 companies that have been granted permission by California to test self-driving vehicles on the roads. These are some of the most powerful and resourceful companies in the world, including GM, Google, Volkswagen, Tesla and now Faraday.
