Oral Roberts, a private university🏫, is requiring first-year students to wear Fitbits⌚️ to prevent the “Freshmen 15.”

Fitbit is a watch⌚️ that tracks how much activity a person does🏃🏼their fitness data will be tracked by the school — and will contribute to their grades, said Oral Roberts provost Kathaleen Reid-Martinez.

As part of the grade the students are required to walk 10,000 steps a day🏃. Oral Roberts has also invited older students to join the Fitbit program too, and said campus bookstores have already sold more than 550 of the popular gadgets, which retail for about $150💰.

What would you do if you were forced to wear a fitbit for school! Good or bad idea💡?
