Racing drones isn’t something necessarily new, but racing drones controlled by your brain…now that’s revolutionary.

At the University of Florida, students have used brain-computer interface technology (BCI), same technology that powers prosthetic limbs, to fly drones down a 10 yard course. To fly the drone, pilots wear a headset calibrated to the drone’s controller. In the same way one would think to push an object forward, the headset will pick up on the pilots neuron activity causing the drone to propel forward.
