The FAA just released more relaxed Drone regulations that take effect in August!

The regulations state that commercial drones can be flown as long as the pilot is over the age of 16, has the drone in his or her line of sight, and does not elevate to over 400 feet above ground level. The new rules do not affect drones used as a hobby, only commercial use.

These rules are the first steps to fully integrate drones into the US airspace. Supposedly, the new rule could generate more than $82 billion for the U.S. economy. Companies like Amazon want to use drones for deliveries but that idea remains off limits for the time being.

Are you happy with these new drone regulations?
