The End of Empathy

Here’s the reality, I am a great person…and I am a horrible person. And so are you. Whether you are willing to accept that will dictate whether you feel the need to jump in and judge others. I don’t find it a lack of empathy, I find it to be a desperate attempt to deny ones own flaws.
We are all better than the worst thing we’ve ever done, I judge people every day, I’m no better than anyone else in that regard. I do however realize that I could easily be one of those people I am judging. Pick whatever horrible thing you can think of, it could be me. Or you. You might be surprised.
