If youâre considering the Samsung Galaxy S22 but arenât sold on any of the available colors, Samsung may soon have a solution for you as it appears that a lavender purple hue may be coming soon.
Thatâs what reputable leaker @UniverseIce claimed after posting a picture of what appears to be a purple wallpaper on a Samsung phone along with the comment that this color is on the way.
Roland Quandt, a writer for WinFuture and another reliable leaker, concurred and added that the color will be dubbed âBora Purple,â matching a hue that has also been linked to the Samsung Galaxy Buds 2 Pro.
Although itâs unclear whether this color will be available on the Samsung Galaxy S22, the Galaxy S22 Plus, the Galaxy S22 Ultra, or some mix of them, there is some evidence that it might be coming to the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra or to several other S22 line devices.
This hypothesis is supported by an advertisement discovered by @sondesix, which purportedly depicts a Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra with a variety of colored LEDs protruding from it. Most of these are compatible with current Ultra hues, however, one of the purple colors isnât.
Additionally, the advertisement clearly states that new colors are coming to the Galaxy S22 series, which raises the possibility that more than one new color and/or new colors are coming to different Galaxy S22 series models. Even the date of July 15 is mentioned, suggesting that the new hues may be revealed on that day.
But even if all of these leaks are true, itâs important to remember that new hues might not be released everywhere, thus itâs unclear where Bora Purple and other new colors will be sold.
