Sounds like a great initiative, and glad to see it happening!

I hope JS and video loading issues are considered as well.

Recently I’ve been looking at the size of AMP mobile-optimized pages, and found that even if images and CSS are kept small, a page that uses the Youtube iframe embed is pulling down up to 500KB in JS and CSS even before the user hits ‘play’.

In experiments replacing that with a custom miniature Youtube loader, the size can be reduced to < 100KB.
