Hey Emma, just wanted to add: I’m a gay guy. The reason I feel insecure about my lovely moobs and beer belly is because of one simple reason: Competition. There’s a lot of good looking gay guys out there, and a limited pool. I too ask the question: “Is he just settling?”

Well there’s two things here:
1. Settling for what? I have a successful job, my own apartment, nice personality and have some good physical features. When it comes to full time dating, looks aren’t the only thing, even for men ;)

2. I’m not very picky with what my guys look like. In fact, I like a range of bodies. I figure there are guys who are the same, even thin ones who would stereo-typically be up there on the hotness-bs-scale. With that in mind, I usually relax. If I would select a fatty, why wouldn’t he?!
