This, too, will pass!
And finally, the results are here. The newspapers, the TV channels and the social media are flooded with news that every student was trying not to wait for, but couldn’t help. This time of the year is very challenging, especially for the students who appeared for their class 12 board exams this year. The ones who fared well, receive congratulatory messages from each direction, and are in a celebrating mood, getting showered with love from all those around them. But the entire scenario is very different for those who couldn’t do well. The calls and messages from relatives and friends, those they didn’t know even existed, keep pouring in from all sides. Each call, each message is just a marks inquiry, reacting to which is more difficult than the board exams themselves.
But this is the time where you need to stay strong. We know that the time is really tough, but you need to hang on. It’s just for few hours a day. Trust me, only few hours. You’ve still got the rest of the day for yourself. Talk to your friends and family. It is not the right time to take it all by yourself. Keep talking to your dear ones. Take a break from the virtual world. Engage less on social media. Try gossiping with your friends and family instead. You will definitely feel better. Don’t be too harsh on yourself. The period of anxiety and stress will pass. If you’ve made some mistakes, it is the time to analyze them and bounce back strong. If you’ve just completed your 10th, you have ample time to right all wrongs and perform better in your 12th exams. If you have just completed your 12th, it is the right time to figure out what you really want to do. Start listing out your interests. Don’t muddle your mind with negativity. Be very clear headed while figuring out the stream you want to continue in. You might want to take the opinions of your parents and friends, but the final decision rests with you. You have a few months to analyze what actually works out for you.
Not as a Techno blogger, but as your senior, I would like to tell you that this is just the beginning. The real game starts now. If you’ve made wrong decisions before, now is the time to learn from them and rectify them. In few months from now, you’d have met new people, made new friends, discovered new things about yourself and experienced life like never before. Maybe you’d land up in a very prestigious college. Maybe you won’t. But trust me, painting yourself green and calling yourself grass is as good as thinking that being in a very prestigious institute is a guarantor for success. You just need to keep the engines running, and work towards your goal diligently. Set goals for yourself, work hard, keep on conquering them, and maybe one day you’ll stand in front of a mirror and say to yourself, “I am the guy, I wanted to become!”.
“No one can go back and make a brand new start. Anyone can start from now and make a brand new ending.”
Wishing you a wonderful life ahead!
