Why Macbook doesn’t have a touchscreen?
In the next few minutes, you will know how much Apple cares for its users.
The reason why MacBook doesn't have a touchscreen is obvious but there’s more to it, there’s also a hidden reason for not doing that. So, with that said, let’s get straight into the details.
1. Touch will lack comfort:
Let me explain here a bit, while, it’s completely ok, to have a touch on iPad, and other devices, Macbook is used vertically, thus using it for longer durations, or even, for instance, smaller durations, will be uncomfortable.
2. Affect Sales:
Yes, another reason for it “can be” the sales of the peripherals, while, you might not use an external mouse with Macbook, even a small chunk of the audience can mean be huge, considering the number of MacBooks get sold each year, thus adding the touch screen functionality will eventually hurt the sales of Magic Mouse.
3. Expensive:
There’s a reason it’s the last point because Apple is certainly not the company, that’s concerned with, how expensive the product is, but with adding functionality that users might not even use.
