The founding team (and their many interns) went through Techstars Paris program in 2018. Since then, the startup has been sharing office space with 2 other startups from Techstars Paris (AZmed and Stockly) and has been extending a lot. This is also the second startup of 2018 class to raise funds. Congrats to the team!
Your one-sentence elevator pitch?
Groover is a web platform where artists submit their music to media, labels & music influencers for coverage and get guaranteed feedback.
What are you up to since the end of the program?
Since the end of the program, the number of songs sent on the platform reached 60K and the number of active influencers is now of 250 (France, Belgium & Canada mainly at the moment). We grew our team from 6 to 8 after hiring Louise (Digital Marketing) & Claire (Customer Success) and we are currently looking for more to join us (product, tech & business).
Have you raised money? Are you still looking for money? What for?
We raised 1.3M euros with Kima Ventures & business angels from the music & tech industries to grow our team, enhance the product experience & internationalize the communities of artists & influencers in Europe & North America.
How many customer do you now have?
We have 3000 artists using Groover who made 60K sendings of songs and 250 active influencers who made 50K feedback.
Is your solution deployed abroad?
Our solution is deployed abroad and we already have some paying customers in the US, UK, Scandinavia, South Europe, etc. We are now trying to build some communities of influencers in Europe & North America.
What is your next big milestone?
Our next big milestone is to reach 500 influencers at the end of the year with half of them from non-French speaking countries.
